Sony Ericsson today unveiled the S312, a basic camera phone with illuminated shortcuts on the keypad for easier usage.

There is not much to write home about, but for a entry level cell phone, the S312 does seem pretty loaded. Buyers will find Bluetooth, FM radio, a 2-inch TFT display, a speakerphone, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800 connectivity.

Sony Ericsson S312 comes loaded with a 2 megapixel camera with features like Photo fix, Photo light, 2.5x digital zoom and video recording.
Pictures sharing is easier than ever before. You can share your pictures on the internet with a few clicks using picture blogging.

The device also includes Sony Ericsson's media player with PlayNow, TrackID, stereo Bluetooth, and more.

The Sony Ericsson S312 will make its way to the market in the second quarter of 2009 for a price that is yet to be announced.

- Communications: Bluetooth with A2DP, USB FM-radio with RDS function

VH300 Bluetooth headset to the phone will be available in two colors: Stellar Silver and Argentum Black. VH300 advantages are the possibility of processing a call in one touch, easy to use volume control. VH300 Bluetooth headset will be on sale during the third quarter of 2009

I have brought s312 few days ago. No CD and Data cable are provided with the phone. I try to use the phone as modem to connect pc to internet using se data cable. But sony erricsion PC suite can not identify this phone. I have download USP driver for this phone from SE support site. But still i can not use this phone as modem.I also try with blowtooth, but same result.
Can i use this phone as internet modem????

maybe they think rich are more than poor
or their phones are intended for rich.
compare nokia 5130 to w302
price Php6100 W302 Php7800 but 5130
is far better than W302.

its obvious that nokia is the lost 1 cos,they cant go beyond vga,they use a low pwr cpu for a monster,cant make thier own parts,get help frm samsung,bose.cant make its own lense and sensors,cant figure why its phn restars often.nw u tel me who is lost.

For those who think that 2 Mpx mean nothing,i advice them to take a book and learn what means 2 Mpx,and the most important things to a camera is the camera quality,iso parameters,white balance,etc.and not long time ago this rezolution was proudly the best.
For example buy a average camera with 10 Mpx and compare those photos with picture mede by fabulous K750 from SE and observe that 2 beat 10.
Don't hurry to acuse,judge first!!!

phone looks good but ....why sony ericsson not giving quality products ...new launch all r very poor¬ user friendly, i am using sony w595 its a new model it has hanging problem. in sony w302 very poor sound and head phone is also not good...so give quality products for customers for his money...
